I’m doing Insanity. If you’ve never heard about Insanity, it’s a 60-day extreme workout program that promises amazing results. I finished my ninth workout this morning and it is INTENSE.
Every morning I somehow manage to drag myself out of bed and into my living room where, 45 minutes later, I leave drenched in sweat. It is by far the most difficult workout that I have ever done, but it is also the most rewarding. Once I press play I know that there is no turning back, and somehow I keep finding the strength to dig deeper, even when I don’t think that I can complete another pushup.
Here’s the trailer:
Doing Insanity has been a goal of mine for awhile. I heard that it was one of the most difficult workout programs that you could do, so naturally I wanted to give it my best shot. It helps to know that I am not alone in taking on the challenge. It might be hard, but I know that it’s not impossible, so I keep going even when I want to quit. I’m looking forward to sharing my before and after pictures once the 60-days are over.
I’m not going to be posting a huge amount about this challenge, but I did want to share that I’m doing it. If you’re interested in the program, check out the posts from these other bloggers who have also dug down deep to find their inner crazy:
- Insanity Workout Log - because sweat matters. I really like this one. The blogger has committed to logging every step in their journey with detail. This blog also includes a post about Shaun T quoteables which is pretty enjoyable
- green tiger girl - a bloggers journey to find health and happiness
- Poppin’ Bottles: A Fit Momma’s Road to Competition – this blogger actually finished insanity. Check out her results.
Plus, on Friday I’m going to be posting a guide for goal-setting based on the information that I’ve collected from some of my favourite books. It’s going to be a gem of a post and I’ve really excited to share it with everyone.
