Youtube video on following your intuition

I have some pretty exciting news! After an extensive interview process, yesterday I was offered a job as assistant editor at myyogaonline.com. I of course accepted, and gave my two weeks notice at the gym this morning. The office is beautiful, and the opportunity is perfectly in alignment with what I’m looking for right now.

I have never before posted a video clip to this blog, but today I felt inspired to do so. Click on the screen-shot below to hear exactly how this job opportunity came about and my thoughts on this pretty major milestone in my life.

It seems like an eternity ago that I was working as a hostess at a family restaurant for minimum wage, all the while going a little further into debt each month. So much has happened since then, and I am so grateful for everything that has been attracted into my life from this moment onwards.

I cannot stress how important it is for you to listen to your intuition and follow your passion. Quiet your thoughts and listen, because I think if you allow yourself to be completely still, the next step will become obvious.

I’m not a religious person, but I called out to God to help me get this job. I also prayed that the universe/god/source/energy would provide me with the tools and confidence that I needed to impress both the CEO’s Jason and Michelle, and the head editor Irene. I put it into the hands of the universe, and the universe rewarded me. Right now I am consumed with feelings of love and excitement for what the future holds.

If you liked the video, let me know. I think I’d like to incorporate a video of this sort to document every major milestone in my life. It’s a pretty great way to keep a record of growth.

Keep moving forward. I promise you that hard work does pay off.

Cheers.

Congratulations Christine! I think all your blog followers were hoping that you’d get to leave your gym job at some point soon so we’re all quietly cheering for you! And to find something so much more suited to you that will make you happy is exactly what you deserve for putting yourself out there and inspiring others. Glad your hard work is paying off but remember – it needn’t be all hard work. Try to imagine things flowing to you easily and effortlessly. It’s one I’ve struggled with because I’ve always felt you have to work hard to achieve things but sometimes it’s the wrong mind-set to have. Because then we make things so much harder for ourselves. Put in the work by all means but make sure you have fun and enjoy what you do and that will also attract more and more of what you want into your life.

Thank you so much Kyra!! I SO appreciate the support. When I posted on here and on facebook that I had gotten the job, it amazed me the amount of people who spoke up in support of me and my dreams. I feel so grateful, and I just want to put all that support back out into the world.
You’re so right about allowing things to be effortless. I need to work on that as well. I don’t why letting things be easy is so hard.

Congratulations and thank you for the video. You are right about intuition. I’ve ignored it in the past and regretted that. Glad you paid attention.

Thank you so much Lindsay. Hopefully next time you have that intuition you’ll listen to it and go forward. It’s truly incredible how much the universe is working for us if we only allow and live in the present. Again, thank you for the support!
